Trulyhelp Trust is committed to ensuring fair and transparent processing of requests for the refund of donations, especially as digital payments become more frequent. We expect all donors to exercise due care and diligence when making donations. However, we also recognize that a donation may be made erroneously or that a donor may change their mind.

Trulyhelp Trust will examine each request for a refund and endeavor to make the refund. We may seek further information or supporting documentation, and we appreciate your cooperation in this regard.

Eligibility and Timeline

If you would like your donation to Trulyhelp Trust to be refunded, you must submit a request in writing or via email.

  • Timeline: Your request must reach Trulyhelp Trust within 15 (fifteen) calendar days from the date on which the donation was made. This applies to donations made:

    • Online, electronically, or through other digital means.

    • By handing over a cheque or demand draft to Trulyhelp Trust or an authorized representative.

    • By dispatching a cheque or demand draft to Trulyhelp Trust through courier or post.

  • Processing Time: Once a refund request is reviewed and approved, the amount will be credited back to your original payment account within 2–3 business days.

Information Required for a Refund Request

To help us process your request efficiently, your written or emailed statement must state the reason for the refund and contain the following essential details:

  • Date of donation

  • Donation amount

  • Transaction Details:

    • If made via Cheque/Demand Draft: Cheque/Draft number.

    • If made via Credit/Debit Card: Last 4 digits of the card number only.

    • If made Online/Net Banking: Donation ID / Transaction Reference Number.
